Dana to launch HUF 15bn development in Gyor soon, Szijjarto says
US-based Dana group will launch a HUF 15bn new investment in Gyor at the beginning of 2017, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade Peter Szijjarto announced at a press conference in Budapest on Thursday.
Budapest-MTI/ECONEWS. The Hungarian government will provide HUF 2.9bn in grants toward the investment that will create 200 new jobs in Gyor by 2020, Mr Szijjarto said. Robert Pyle, president of Dana Light Vehicle Driveline Technologies, said the company will build a 13,000 square meter large factory to meet regional demand for its products, such as curved bevel gear drives. The new base will be Dana's fourth factory in Gyor, he added.
